Wifi lab is both a study and build event that uses your knowledge of electromagnetic wave propagation. This event consists of two parts: constructing an antenna device prior to the tournament that is designed to transmit a signal at 2.4GHz and completing a test on the principles of electromagnetic wave propagation. This is a great event for those of you wanting to try something new by doing a study and a build event! You will be permitted to bring a 3 ring binder of any size as well as 2 computational calculators to help you complete this test. Students that have experience with antennas and electromagnetic principles are encouraged to participate in this event.
